I wanted to share the latest on thing2’s efforts to pay off his debt. After selling some of his items, he managed to make about $500, bringing his total down to roughly $2,200. It’s progress, and I’m pleased to see him taking responsibility for his actions.

That said, I’ve decided to give him a bit of a breather. With the holidays upon us, I’ll allow him until January to come up with the rest of his plan to pay me back. This isn’t about letting him off the hook; it’s about making sure he has the time to think carefully and make smarter choices moving forward.
