One of the things I’m most proud of about my boy thing1 is his heart—his deep compassion and unwavering service.

Among his many skills, thing1 provides a very special service as a death doula. His typical client? A Domme who has entered hospice. He takes on the full responsibility of caring for her at the end of her journey, tending to her needs with the grace and devotion of a true submissive—and he does so completely nude, offering his presence in the most open, vulnerable way.

He’s just left for an assignment, and I already miss him. I know when he returns, he’ll need some extra love and care. This work is deeply fulfilling, but it’s also emotionally heavy.
