His first contribution to the magazine was an essay arguing that women are superior to men—now that’s the kind of energy I like to see in a new recruit. It certainly caught my attention.

For now, hertoy is a pledge, which means he’s in his 30-day trial period. At the end of that time, I’ll review his contributions and decide if he’s earned a promotion to a Level 1 sub. If he keeps producing work like this, I don’t think that decision will be difficult.
