making meals for Madam is one of my favorite acts of service. it’s not just about food. it’s about care, attention, and showing my devotion one slice, stir, or simmer at a time. every meal is a chance to please her, to nourish her, and to honor her place in my life.

i love starting in the kitchen, apron on, everything in its place. i plan the menu with her tastes in mind. does she want something comforting? something light and fresh? something indulgent? i chop, season, stir, and taste with the goal of putting joy on her plate. and if she’s home, she’ll sometimes peek in or pass by. when she does, duckie stands a little taller, hoping she’s pleased by the smells or the presentation.

breakfast might be something simple but beautiful. eggs just the way she likes, fresh juice, warm bread. lunch is often efficient and balanced. dinner can be slow and luxurious, with candles, wine, and a dessert that took hours to get right. no matter the meal, the most important ingredient is her happiness.

i plate everything carefully, carry it to her with pride, and wait to see her reaction. that first look, that first bite, it means everything. sometimes she smiles. sometimes she gives a quiet nod. sometimes she feeds me a bite, and duckie melts.

making her meals reminds me of my place, my purpose. i get to serve her, nurture her, and make her feel treasured. and that fills me up more than anything on the table.
