Phase 4 Ball Stretching Protocol Update

Summer and ‘life’ keeping running behind schedule on these but getting there!

 

Anyway back to the topic at hand – Ball Stretching Phase 4 – aka 3 rings.

Now this one has been tough, not sure if it’s just adjustment, equipment or the process in full but didn’t quite manage to make full assigned duration yet in these comfortably yet. Have found quite the need for adjustment and checking of circulation etc.

I will see if I can get different rings to progress with as I’m sure with any increase this issue (?) may increase so probably best to try and address it early.

That said surprising how much of a difference it made adding the extra ring, has made, very aware now of my balls when moving around don’t even get me started on any tasks needing bending / crouching! I guess it’s also a bit harder with timing as not an empty house this end much at the moment so lots of layers adds to the restriction.

Obviously along with all this comes with the near constant reminder now of ‘the hold’ or the restrictions when I am going through these sessions with is one of the main reasons for doing this. To get that feeling and of course to try and please and do a good job.

      Cheers BGL. Totally seems weird not being as active here over the summer – but then realising how’d I’d fit it in with this schedule and well so many people about! Roll on September

    Same. experience here: all the boys are finding the transition to a 3rd ring NOT seamless.
    We are using weighted stainless steel rings and considering trying a thicker and heavier single ring and then adding on from there.
    All the boys got sore on their normal morning runs with 3 rings. Doesn’t make for the most responsive boy during the day, so we went back to 2 and are thinking thru how to “reconfigure.”
    We’ll keep stretching – longer and lower is better.

      Oh that’s reassuring to know that I’m certainly not alone. Keen to see what approach you do go with and how it works.

      I’ll see what different equipment I can pick up in the meantime for similar results.

    You’re doing well with this project eleven. I think Autumn has quite a ways for you to go, so be sure she is well aware of any discomfort. While I think the weighted rings are a great idea, you may want to wait until you hear from her before buying anything different.
