Ok so I am a TV addict. Annie and I enjoy watching shows together and I have mine too. I often keep shows running in the background while I work or get creative. It is part of my routine.
But lately I decided enough is enough. I refuse to support companies that are destroying the foundations of our democracy. Paramount got cut first because of its conservative takeover of CBS News and the cancellation of Colbert for political reasons. Prime got dropped next. I will not fund evil billionaire overlords who prop up authoritarian regimes.
Apple is out too. We canceled AppleTV+ and we are not upgrading our iPhones this year. It was disgusting to see Time Cook and all the other tech billionaires cuddling around the table kissing the ring of the king.
Then there was Disney+/Hulu/HBO. I canceled that package this morning. I agree with what Michael Eisner said about Disney taking Kimmel off the air.

So our entertainment options are shrinking fast.
Annie noticed. She told me that since I cancelled almost everything, it is on me to make sure she is entertained more with sex. She was blunt about it. She said she expects more of it, more often, with creativity. So yes, I am going to be recruiting some help.
Turns out cutting TV might just be exactly what we need. Stay tuned.
