With Cody at the office more than ever, our time together has become precious and limited. That reality pushed me to be creative with my own routines. Ben has stepped into a new role as my exercise partner, and I have been spending much more time in the home gym while the house is empty.
These are not casual workouts. They are pegging sessions built into training. Control, pace, breathing, and endurance all matter. I strap on before we begin, treat it as part of my uniform, and expect him to match my intensity. Every movement is deliberate. Every command counts.
At first, the pace overwhelmed him. This kind of workout demands focus and surrender, not just strength. He needed time to adjust to how quickly I push him and how long I expect him to hold position. But once he settled into it, something shifted. He stopped bracing and started offering himself to the rhythm.
Now he begs for more. Faster. Harder. Longer sets. He has learned that these sessions are as much about discipline and obedience as they are about physical exertion. Watching him give in to that and crave it has been deeply satisfying.
Cody may be busy, but my training has not slowed down. My house remains active, intentional, and very well worked.
