I have two close friends who, like me, live in female-led marriages. We’ve known each other for years, and our husbands know one another well. We’ve shared plenty of evenings together, comparing notes on what works in our households, laughing over the unique challenges of training good submissive men, and occasionally borrowing ideas from one another.
One couple lives only about twenty minutes away. The other is closer to a ninety-minute drive, which means we don’t see them nearly as often as we’d like.
So we came up with an idea.
We coordinated our vacation schedules and decided to do a husband swap.
Starting on the 10th, each husband has a full week away from work. From Monday through Wednesday, each man will serve in another woman’s household. Then on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, they’ll rotate to the third household. Sunday, everyone returns home.
The point isn’t romance. It isn’t replacing anyone’s marriage. It’s training.
Every Domme runs her household differently. We all have different expectations, different routines, and different priorities. I think there is tremendous value in a submissive stepping into another structured home and learning to adapt. A well-trained service husband should be able to observe, listen, and serve the woman leading that household without bringing assumptions from his own.
I’m especially interested to see what my friends notice about Cody. Living with someone for years means you inevitably overlook little habits. A fresh pair of experienced eyes may spot strengths I take for granted or identify areas where he could improve.
Likewise, I expect to learn quite a bit from hosting their husbands. I’ll quickly discover how they were trained, what standards have become second nature to them, and perhaps even borrow a few ideas to bring back into my own home.
And yes, I fully intend to put my temporary husbands to work. There will be plenty of cooking, cleaning, errands, household projects, and opportunities to demonstrate exactly how well they can serve under a different woman’s authority.
By the end of the week, I suspect all three households will have learned something.
I’ll be very interested to compare notes when the husbands are safely back where they belong.
