When I saw the Show and Tell assignment, I knew almost immediately what I wanted to bring to class.
My pink collar.

It is probably one of the simplest things I could have chosen, but for me, it carries a lot more meaning than its size suggests. It is pink, it has a heart shaped ring, and it has “Good Boy” written on it.

That last part is probably what makes it special to me.

Being called a good boy is something I want to earn, not something I want to assume I deserve. When I see those words on my collar, they remind me that submission is something I have to demonstrate through my actions. Following instructions, completing what is asked of me, accepting correction when I fall short, being honest, and putting genuine effort into my service all matter.

The collar also reminds me that submission is a choice.

I choose to put it around my neck. I choose to wear it. And I choose what it represents.

For me, it represents willingly giving up a certain amount of control and allowing my Domme to have authority over me. Not because I am incapable of making my own decisions, but because there is something deeply satisfying about choosing to serve someone I respect and knowing that my actions are being measured by her expectations rather than my own excuses.

And then there is that little heart shaped ring.
I like it because it makes the collar feel personal. There is something almost innocent about a pink collar with a heart on it, but at the same time, when I put it on, I am reminded exactly where I have chosen to place myself.

That is why I chose this for Show and Tell. I could have picked something more complicated or impressive, but this collar says more about my submission than most objects ever could.
It represents the boy I am trying to become.

A boy who listens.

A boy who serves.

A boy who accepts correction instead of making excuses.

And most importantly, a boy who wants to look at that little “Good Boy” on his collar and know that he actually earned it.

So, this is what I brought for Show and Tell.

My collar.

My heart.

My submission.

And hopefully, one day, the words written on it will be something my Domme can say about me with complete confidence.
