for this assignment, of course Madam would be at the top of my list. but we were told to choose someone outside of femdomu, so i am going to write about a woman i do not think i have ever mentioned here before. i will call her cindy because i know she would not want me to use her real name.

dear cindy,

when Madam and i were in europe running the femdom auctions charity fundraiser, my life was a roller coaster of adventures and experiences. Madam’s success made it seem like there was an unlimited number of people willing to be part of my life. people wanted to help me, use me, play with me, and share in everything that was happening around us. it was exciting, exhausting, overwhelming, and mostly wonderful.

then Madam had her accident, and everything stopped. suddenly i was alone in an emergency room waiting area, terrified and unable to get anyone to tell me what had happened. i did not know how badly she was hurt or whether she was going to be okay. i was in a foreign country, surrounded by strangers, and completely helpless.

that was when you put your hand on my shoulder. i still remember exactly what you said.

“hey, it’ll be okay. can i help you?”

then you did.

i still do not know how you managed it. you were at the hospital because your own family was dealing with an emergency, but somehow you got through to the staff. you found out what had happened to Madam, asked the questions i could not manage to ask, and held my hand when a doctor finally came out to explain her condition.

more importantly, you held my hand when i went to her bedside and confronted something that was far more traumatic for me than it probably appeared to anyone else. you understood how frightened i was. you never belittled my emotions, told me to calm down, or made me feel foolish for struggling. you simply stayed beside me and helped me face it.

for two very difficult days, you were my constant companion. we ate together, shared coffees, told stories, laughed, and cried. i know you remained at the hospital long after your family had gone home and there was no longer any reason for you to be there. at least, there was no reason except me.

you stayed until i was okay. you stayed until Madam woke up and i could finally be with her. then, almost as suddenly as you had appeared, you were gone.

sometimes i honestly wonder if you were an angel sent to find me in that waiting room because someone knew i could not get through those days alone. i never had the chance to properly thank you, so i am doing it now.

thank you for being an amazing woman, an incredible human being, and my angel when i desperately needed one. i have never forgotten you, cindy. i never will.
