FemdomU Sub Communication Policy
Status: Under Conclave Review
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish clear expectations regarding how submissives interact with the Dommes of FemdomU Magazine, FemdomU Academy, theWHIP, and the FemdomU Conclave. Communication is an important part of service. Subs are encouraged to be active, engaged members of the community, while always remembering that FemdomU is a female-led organization where submissives exist to support, serve, and contribute to the success of the Dommes and their projects.
- General Standards of Conduct
All submissives, including staff subs, volunteer subs, Academy students, and community participants, are expected to conduct themselves respectfully at all times when interacting with any Domme affiliated with FemdomU.
When communicating with a Domme:
• Be courteous and professional.
• Be respectful of her time.
• Be clear and concise.
• Remain focused on the purpose of the communication.
• Do not offer unsolicited advice.
• Do not attempt to instruct, correct, manage, or direct a Domme.
• Do not make demands.
• Do not repeatedly ask for favors, special assignments, private attention, or opportunities.
• Remember that your role within FemdomU is one of service and support.
Questions are welcome when appropriate. Requests may occasionally be appropriate when related to assignments, service opportunities, or administrative matters. However, communications should never create an expectation that a Domme owes a sub her time, attention, mentorship, friendship, or participation.
- Writing Standards
FemdomU places a high value on effective written communication.
In general, proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure are expected in communications with Dommes.
The practice of intentionally capitalizing female pronouns, titles, and references while writing male terms in lowercase is not required and is generally discouraged in official communication channels. While individual Dommes may have personal preferences, the organizational preference is for clear, professional, well-written communication.
This standard is mandatory for all published content appearing in FemdomU Magazine, Academy coursework, official comments, and volunteer submissions.
A sub’s blog entries in theWHIP are the only exception, and even this is discouraged.
The goal is simple: write well, communicate clearly, and present yourself professionally.
- Requirement to Respond to Dommes
The FemdomU Conclave previously adopted Resolution 1.7, “Subs Must Comment When Commented To By a Domme.”
Under this rule:
All staff and volunteer submissives are expected to provide a timely reply whenever a Domme comments on content they have published within FemdomU Magazine or theWHIP.
The purpose of this requirement is to encourage engagement, conversation, appreciation, and active participation within the community.
A response does not need to be lengthy. However, it should be thoughtful, respectful, and acknowledge the Domme’s contribution.
Repeated failure to respond to Dommes may be considered a failure of service.
- Approved Methods of Communication
To ensure communications remain organized and respectful of boundaries, submissives shall use approved communication channels when contacting Dommes directly.
Staff Dommes
Subs may communicate directly with Staff Dommes through their official FemdomU email addresses when necessary.
Guest Dommes
Communication with Guest Dommes shall occur through the Academy LiveChat system unless the Guest Domme has expressly authorized another communication method.
Subs should not seek out personal contact information, personal social media accounts, phone numbers, or other private communication methods unless explicitly invited to do so by the Domme involved.
- Participating in Community Discussions
FemdomU encourages active participation in comments, discussions, Academy conversations, and community engagement.
When commenting on content created by a Domme:
• Be respectful.
• Be insightful.
• Be constructive.
• Be supportive.
• Add value to the discussion whenever possible.
Thoughtful questions, observations, personal experiences, and respectful discussion are encouraged.
When commenting on content created by another sub:
• Continue to be respectful and supportive.
• Encourage fellow submissives.
• Offer helpful feedback when appropriate.
• Foster camaraderie within the community.
While professionalism remains important, interactions between fellow subs may be somewhat more relaxed, friendly, and jovial than communications directed toward Dommes.
The goal is to build a strong, positive pack culture where submissives support one another while maintaining respect for the female-led structure of the organization.
- Final Principle
Every communication reflects upon both the individual sub and the FemdomU community as a whole.
Subs should strive to communicate in a manner that demonstrates respect, maturity, gratitude, humility, and a genuine desire to contribute positively to the projects, discussions, and goals established by the Dommes of FemdomU.
Good communication is service.
Good communication is professionalism.
Good communication is submission in action.
