my punishment ceremony yesterday definitely stung… in that way that makes duckie go, “oh no… anyway…”

since Madam is away, things had to be handled a little differently. the monthly ceremony still happens, and i still get to be the human calculator for everyone’s bad decisions. every punishment point turns into a lashing on my very cooperative backside.

first though, i gotta say thank you.

seriously, boys, you saved my ass. literally.

z and levi took theirs like champs, and on the volunteer side, usagi, thanuj, turtle, eboy, and eleven all stepped up. eboy and eleven even went above and beyond with Mizz Geena to take extra. that is some top-tier bro behavior right there. duckie appreciates it… deeply… in ways my skin definitely noticed.

i only had to carry the full counts for boxingglovelove and mrsub. no worries guys, duckie’s got you. my cheeks send their regards.

my starting number was over five hundred. yeah. five. hundred. i was already mentally preparing to become a decorative rug. but then Cook stepped in and did some math magic. instead of the usual reduction, she knocked things down more aggressively based on what everyone else took.

after all the adjustments, i landed just under two hundred.

which, in duckie terms, translates to “oh thank goddess, i might survive this with my dignity mostly intact.” seriously, Cook has been around me so long that she’s seen it all – she’s even seen duckie cry a bit. but i was still trying to really impress Miss Leo, she’s so cool and i was hoping not to do any embarrassing screams or cries during this session.

so it was just the three of us. Cook, Miss Leo, and me. they made it into a whole evening. had me order takeout first, which i thought was either very kind or a sign i was about to be tenderized and they wanted me fed beforehand. turns out… both.

once things started, i settled in. counting, breathing, trying not to make too many embarrassing noises. Cook took the first stretch, nice and steady. by the time i was getting into a rhythm, she handed things off to Miss Leo, who finished strong.

and here is the ridiculous part.

by the time it was over, i was like… wait, that’s it?

i swear, i had just hit my stride. duckie was warmed up, focused, maybe even a little too into it. which probably explains why Madam refuses to rely on this as my only punishment.

so yeah. lighter load this month. still stung. still satisfying.

and somehow, this duck walked away smiling.
