Agenda item 1.9 in Conclave I was my formal request to assign punishment to my sub, thing2, after his reckless behavior led to the destruction of a family heirloom. During the discussion phase, the other Dommes had a chance to weigh in and offer punishment suggestions to add to my original list.

Mistress Meghan took one of my ideas—lashings from my husband with his belt—and expanded on it. Her version? 129 lashings, one for each dollar spent when the item was purchased decades ago, plus additional lashings for the “burden of history.” That addition tipped the vote. While several Dommes favored the original, Mistress Meghan’s expanded version won by one vote.

Last night, I had thing2 spin the punishment wheel—yes, the same kind we’ve discussed using before. I loaded it with numbers from 10 to 99. His first spin? 14.

Disappointing.

So I had a little fun with it. I told him he’d spin three times, and whichever spin landed the highest would be the one that counted. Oh, he thought he had lucked out.

Spin two: 21
Spin three: 89

Much better.

With my husband still out of town, and houseguests still visiting, the punishment won’t begin until they’ve left. This will be a private house event.

So, the final count: 129 (value of the item) + 89 (wheel result) = 218 lashings.

Now, 218 lashings from my husband and his belt would be dangerous—around 40 to 50 typically starts to break thing2’s skin. I want him punished, but not put out of commission.

Here’s how we’re doing it:

• Four sessions, spaced out over time
• Each session, thing2 will receive 25 lashings
• Thing1 and houseboy will each take 12 lashings in support
• Final fifth session, thing2 alone will take the final 22

It’s a methodical, drawn-out sentence. It also happens to be worse for thing2 to watch his brothers suffer for him—that’s part of the punishment.

I’ve marked tentative dates on the calendar for each session, depending on my husband’s schedule allows. We will be going well into late-summer at this.

One thing is for sure: thing2 won’t be kicking any more balls around this house—at least, not the inflatable kind. ⚽😏
