duckie’s health goal: eat the tiny green trees

by | Jun 1, 2025 | 2 comments

so, i am actually a pretty healthy duck! Madam corrected my bad habits, and i’m lucky She got me young enough to train me into taking care of myself. regular doctor visits. daily runs. strength training. i’m not some gym bro, but i can hold my own and keep up with whatever Madam needs. lean, healthy, strong. not a muscle freak, just useful and obedient.

my last physical before we left the states went great. high marks across the board. doctor was pleased. and i’m solid on sexual health too… daily meds, testing, condoms unless Madam says otherwise. no excuses.

so when June rolled around and it was time to set a Men’s Health Month goal, i kinda struggled. like, what do i need to fix? i’m already doing the big stuff.

Madam solved that for me.

“broccoli,” She said. “every. single. day.”

oh damn. i wish cook was here, she could at least make dishes i could stand.

Personally, I like my broccoli roasted and crunchy, in the oven with light salt and a drizzle of olive oil, Duckie.

It’s such a good, utilitarian veggie. I dig it. You can do so much with it.

Wishing you luck, D! Always in your corner.

duckie, you’ll survive. And try what bgl suggests – that’s a tasty option. And, I still remember that stir fry you made me – add some broccoli to that dish and it will be even better.
