since the fire earlier this week, Madam and i have been living that hotel life. turns out our place had more damage than i realized. the flames didn’t get inside much, but they got between the outer walls and caused some structural issues. plus, some of Madam’s things ended up with serious smoke damage. big ugh.

her insurance kicked in quickly though, and we’ve got a pretty nice hotel room while we search for a short-term rental. something to hold us over until Madam’s new estate is ready.

so for now, duckie is just making the most of it.
i even had to go buy swim trunks. apparently, they don’t let you swim nude in the hotel pool. rude.
