life here is pretty good. siryessir is usually off working, and he will be back again this weekend. meanwhile Madam has full control of the house, including the three staff. there is a maid, a gardener, and Roland, who i call a butler but he insists he is an “estate manager.” he answers the door, and when siryessir is around, he is like his personal aide. when siryessir is gone, Roland just does everything.
this is where things get interesting. Madam has a very specific way she likes things done, and she is particular about every detail. the maid and the gardener are what i call vanilla staff. they know what is going on here, but they are not directly involved. Roland though, i am starting to realize, is basically a houseslave with a big ego.
whatever. duckie knows his place. my place is at Madam’s side, ready to serve, obey, and make her life smoother in every way possible. it is the place where i get to make her tea just right, lay out her clothes, kneel at her feet, and take care of the little things she does not even have to ask for. it is the place where i belong.
