Service Beyond the Household

My boys know that being of service isn’t just about pleasing me—it extends to their community as well.

A few weeks ago, thing2 noticed a house on his walking route looking overgrown. He knew the woman who lived there, having met her on his walks, and when he checked in, he found out she had taken a fall and was struggling to maintain her home.

Without hesitation, he made it his project.

He’s been handling yard work, cleaning, and even reorganizing her home to help her adjust now that she’s in a wheelchair. And now? He’s taken on an even bigger task—building her a ramp.

A very good boy indeed. 💙
