Ben outdid himself for Valentine’s Day. He planned and cooked a full dinner for Cody and me, beautifully presented and timed perfectly. Salmon cooked just right, sides that actually complemented it, the table set with care. Nothing rushed, nothing sloppy. It felt intentional, and that matters to me.
After dinner, he handled the rest without being asked. He took the kids out to a movie so Cody and I could have the house to ourselves. No interruptions. No clock watching. Just quiet, privacy, and space to reconnect.
That kind of service goes beyond chores. It shows awareness, planning, and understanding of what I value. Watching him support our family while also creating room for intimacy reinforced why bringing him into our home was the right decision.
I am genuinely impressed. This is working out very well.
