When They Find Out
by Autumn | Mar 2, 2026 |
There’s a big reason I keep my magazine work somewhat anonymous from my daily life. Not because I’m ashamed. Not because I’m hiding. But because once people know, everything changes.
Last weekend I was at a party. Normal crowd. Drinks. Music. Laughing. And somehow, in casual conversation, it slipped out that I write for a femdom website.
Within minutes, phones were out. Someone had pulled up an article. Someone else started reading a headline out loud. A couple of the girls were curious. The guys?
The guys went feral.
Suddenly, I had at least a dozen men orbiting me. Offering to refill my drink. Leaning in too close. Puppy dog eyes. Nervous smiles. A few trying way too hard to act dominant. A few clearly hoping I’d humiliate them on the spot.
On the surface it sounds flattering. A room full of men desperate for your attention.
In reality? It’s exhausting.
Every look feels loaded. Every conversation turns into an audition. You can practically see them imagining themselves in one of my stories.
So what did I do?
I decided to test them. Just a little. And at first, it was nothing explicit. Nothing scandalous. But I picked one of the cockiest ones in the group and gave him a simple instruction in front of everyone.
He froze.
The room got quiet.
And I learned exactly who actually understands power, and who just fantasizes about it.
I won’t spoil the details yet. I’m turning it into the next installment of my “Did I Go Too Far?” series, and it’ll be up later this month.
Let’s just say, by the end of the night, the crowd was a lot quieter around me.
