Your gold choke collar’s fastened round my neck,
My leash looped gently downward from your wrist,
With just one twitch I’m taught it can correct
The slightest disregard of your least wish.

So choked I cannot breathe without your leave,
My life dependent on your slightest whim; 
Obedience is all I can conceive
As I am pulled up short and reeled in.

My lesson learned I now only pay heed
To you, and your command’s my sole desire;
The only freedom as your slave I need
Is freedom to achieve what you require.

I feel no shame in being so abased;
How can I when your will has mine replaced?
