It’s going to be a very different kind of weekend around here. One of my dearest friends is sending her daughter, my god-daughter, to stay with us for a few days, and that means we are switching to full PG mode for the duration.

Now, yes, they know about my lifestyle. But when it comes to visits like this, we convert the house to a proper, family-friendly environment. That means no nudity, no toys, no suggestive art, and absolutely no collars or cuffs in sight. Even the most obedient house has to pivot sometimes.

The first adjustment? thing2 had to go. He’s a sweet boy, but bless his heart, he simply can’t handle full-time vanilla. Fortunately, he was already scheduled for some training time with Mrs. Annie, and though we had to cancel last week, it worked out perfectly… he’s already on his way down to Portland.

thing1 and houseboy are staying home, but fully dressed, and on their best behavior. The leashes, paddles, and nipple clamps are all packed up. The dungeon is under wraps. Even the more risqué books and artwork are being tucked away until our guest heads home.

We can handle this. It’s just a few days. And hey, there’s something kind of fun about the challenge of running a household in full vanilla mode when everyone in it knows exactly what’s waiting under the surface.
