Plan for Unexpected Reactions

by | Oct 14, 2025 | 2 comments

Even the most experienced submissive can react in ways they didn’t expect. A sound, a word, a sudden pain, or a mental flashback can trigger strong emotional or physical responses. You might cry, panic, go numb, or feel disconnected. That doesn’t mean you failed—it means you’re human. Your Domme should be prepared to pause, shift, or stop the scene if something feels off. Talk about this possibility beforehand. Submission isn’t about pushing through distress. It’s about trusting you’ll be caught if you fall.

A very spot on post. It’s trust and belief in the power of the Domme.

Trust is built over time and lost quickly … this lifestyle demands thoughtfulness and attentiveness.
