i met yari while i was jogging on one of the trails near the estate. i’d stopped in a little clearing with a few benches to take a water break when this guy running past stopped and complimented my shoes.

which, honestly, is apparently all it takes to make friends with duckie.

we started talking, discovered we run similar routes, and now we meet up at least twice a week. yari is only 20, so running with him has been good for me. by “good for me,” i mean i spend a significant portion of every run trying not to let the bastard notice that i’m dying.

everything was perfectly normal until our last run…

i got hot about halfway through and pulled my shirt off.

oops.

i’d completely forgotten what my back currently looks like after my Magazine punishment ceremony.

yari noticed immediately.

“what the fuck happened to you?”

then came the questions.

lots and lots of questions.

i actually put my shirt back on because i noticed a couple other people on the trail looking at me, and then i explained things to him.

i’m pretty much an open book about my life. i don’t wander around trying to recruit random vanilla people into kink, but if somebody genuinely asks, i’m not ashamed of who i am either. i explained Madam, submission, punishment, and enough of my lifestyle for him to understand that the marks weren’t evidence that somebody had dragged poor innocent duckie into the woods and beaten him.

and sometimes when you’re honest about your weird little world, you discover the person you’re talking to has a weird little world of his own.

turns out yari and his girlfriend have recently started experimenting with rope. she originally encouraged him to tie her up, which led them into learning a little shibari. they’re both beginners, but apparently he’s really gotten interested in learning the technical side of it.

eventually he asked whether i’d let him practice on me.

he’s only worked with his girlfriend, and he wanted the experience of tying somebody with a different body. although, as he pointed out, my smaller frame isn’t dramatically different from hers, so there are some things he’d like to try on me before attempting them with her.

yes.

apparently duckie has become the practice girlfriend.

i have accepted this.

he also went out of his way to assure me there was nothing sexual about his interest. he’s straight.

yeah, yeah, whatever, buddy. had me at ‘tie you up with rope.’

anyway, he’s coming over tomorrow while Madam is out of town, and i’m actually really looking forward to it. getting to experience rope with someone who’s enthusiastic about learning sounds like a pretty damn enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

so if anybody needs me tomorrow and i’m mysteriously unavailable for a while, you’ll know why.

i’m tied up.

i just hope yari is prepared for one small detail i may have neglected to mention.

he’s coming to Madam’s estate.

and this duck does not intend to put on uncomfortable clothes just because his new running buddy is coming over.

he wanted an anatomically convenient practice dummy.
