Aristotle

Aristotle

Old Aristotle was renowned;
His wisdom known to one and all.
Despite this he still somehow found
Himself enslaved, Phyllis’s thrall.

He interfered in her affair
For which she punished him of course;
Seduced him to his great despair,
Reduced him to her willing horse.

She rode him bareback round the town,
With bridle, bit and whip.
We’re told he never lived it down,
Though at last he grew used to it.

So men who think themselves superior
To women are taught they’re inferior.
