My love’s an open book
Which you no longer read
Why take another look
When really there’s no need?

You just take for granted
Desires I’ve confessed,
Accept I am enchanted
Forgetting all the rest.

So you leave unspoken
What you would have me do
Refuse even a token
Of what I’ve begged of you.

Denied forever seems my fate;
I yearn for your command and wait.
