Happy Friday. With being in the BDSM Community for many years, there is some confusion with the BDSM Play parties vs Straight/Gay Sex Parties. I have been part of KT Events for the last 12 years in Houston,TX. We have strict rules people who attend are required to follow. The rules are posted everywhere in the venue. No private parts shown, pasties for breasts, no touching without consent, which means, a spanking demo, wax demo, electro demo, also no photography, these are just a few of the rules. I know other groups/events I have been part of, I give my input on the rules to implement. I am not aware of what other groups do that I am not involved with, but I do hope they follow the rules.

Now the straight/gay sex parties are different. With those parties, people come in, put their clothes in coat check, mingle with the other people and have sex acts at these events. I have done only demos at a strip club, adult party (sex party), even have offered demos at a bath house. Lots of drugs there especially at the gay male sex parties, men only. These parties really have no rules or boundaries. So, yes there is a huge difference between BDSM Play Parties and Sex Parties.
