behind the scenes with duckie

madam had me show her my recent blog posts, and she pointed out that i kinda made it sound like i wrote all the articles. oops.
she suggested i share a little bit about our process. totally fair. i still think i got a lot of work done this week, but no, i didn’t write everything myself.
here’s how things usually go:
our editorial review process depends on where the content comes from. stuff written by subs goes through their Oversight Domme first, then gets reviewed by shawn before moving forward. content written by the Dommes usually goes straight to editorial review.
jessica reviews everything that touches health or safety. once she clears it, mistress heather does her final review. after mistress heather gives the green light, the article comes to me.
that’s when i get to work. i format it, load it into the website, choose or create a feature image, and once it all looks right, i find a spot on the schedule and set the date.
we try to stay 2 to 3 weeks ahead with ready-to-go content, but sometimes things get a little messy.
i also help with blog support. jessica sends me her Health and Safety Quickies in batches, and i handle the uploading and scheduling. goddess barbara sends me her astrology notes, and i do the same for her blog.
so yeah, that’s how it all comes together. just a little peek behind the scenes from your very tired, very helpful duck.
You do a lot from what I’ve seen duckie. You have been very supportive and helpful to me also and it’s appreciated. I know I couldn’t fill your shoes .
This is the thing with a setup like this, i can imagine there is so so much that happens behind the scenes that can be uncreditied or forgotten – not intentionally and its not like its expected for recognition.
As they say every cog in the machine has its own part big or small, remove one part and the machine still stops.
