Communicate About Your Cycle of Play

by | Mar 16, 2026 | 2 comments

Not every week feels the same, and that is normal. Some submissives crave intense use, longer scenes, or heavier control during certain periods. Other times, you may feel mentally or physically depleted and need lighter interaction. That shift is not disobedience. It is human rhythm. Learning your own cycle of desire, energy, and emotional capacity allows you to communicate honestly with your Domme. Planning scenes that respect both your cravings and your limits leads to better service and fewer crashes. Strong submission includes self-awareness and clear communication.

Is that why sometimes I feel very subby, and some days I just really don’t? I always thought it was latent Switch-iness…

I can get this totally. There are definitely days when my mind is on a whole different level on what im thinking and wanting.

Then other times there is a very almost vanilla side where that thinking certainly isn’t for front.

Makes sense that it could be trigger from hormones and such with their highs and lows.
