duckie gets it done

this duck is tired.
realized the blog has been kinda quiet this week. not a lot of us posting. and yeah, there’s a reason. we’ve got two staff out sick, one on personal leave, and one on administrative leave.
but guess what? here’s duckie!
i’ve made no less than 18 pieces publish-ready this week. main articles, photo galleries, a couple stories and letters all coming soon.
on top of that, i completed a massive design task with zeek. yeah, he’s still working too. this was one of those backend fixes he said would help stabilize the site. i trust him, but it meant i had to rebuild dozens of templates so things don’t “fall apart again.”
so yeah, it’s been work work work.
and now i’ve got a blog post up, so i can check that box too.
duckie: still standing. barely. but standing.
Wow duckie, you have been at it! I for one appreciate all you do.
Echoing the above, I know how quick things go down hill when people are off work for any period more so when it’s unexpected.
I can only imagine what the production line looks like behind the scenes as pulling the text together is only one part.
Just goes to show what a great team you are a part of and you are a testament to the magazine to keep powering forward navigating the obstacles in front of you.
Just remember to delegate if you are able and take a moment to breathe every now and then.
