Healthy Weight Isn’t About Size

by | Jun 27, 2025 | 5 comments

This isn’t about being skinny—it’s about blood pressure, glucose, joints, and energy. Being too heavy or too thin can put stress on your body. Talk to your doctor about what’s healthy for you, not what the internet says you should look like.

This is a hot topic in my house currently, I’ll only share my bits but I can relate to this for sure.

For me what was a bit of a shock moment was something I’d seen on social media. Summary was to make sure you are able to be part of the memories you make with your family not someone they are told to.

Since then although not following a traditional diet, I’m being aware, doing my own thing and my numbers are improving.

This year alone I’ve lost over a stone, but that’s also -2.8 on my BMI and -3% body fat. For me my next step is fitness. Toning what I have, I’m starting with walking – a treadmill I can use at my desk. Next is upper body!

Balance is key in your workouts.. Focus is OK so long as it doesn’t forsake the whole body, particularly CORE-CORE-CORE. Take a close look at the regimen Mizz Geena’s laid out for MLP. Balance. Upper body strength and size is fine so far as it goes but, alone, it’ll not help you more easily achieve a proper receptacle position (or others for the matter) or improve the core endurance needed for prolonged service.

Oh totally I have read and screenshotted Mizz Geena’s post for MLP. I need to work out what I can realistically fit in and achieve – but I’m starting at 0 so am in dire need of taking that first step.

Once there I can think about 2 and beyond.

Word of caution for Dommes and boys: there are all sorts of supplements available out there advertising a boy will look like Charles Atlas (am I dating myself?).
When in the gym training with young wanna-be pro athletes, krissi (an ectomorphic body type) wondered out loud if he might have a testosterone problem. The trainer laughed, “no way!,” then added that your body will produce what you need on its own (you just need to work harder and keep a healthy diet (e. g. less whiskey)), and that those supplements will SUPPRESS this natural production.
    A very bad thing.
In MLP’s Conclave tasking, Mizz Geena suggests he get a professional trainer. I can’t second more strongly.

I’m working on that Mistress. I think it would be fun to have a woman trainer. In the kink scene or not, maybe she’ll like bossing me around the gym.
