her shoes

one of my favorite responsibilities around the estate is taking care of Madam’s shoes.
seriously.
i know that probably sounds weird to a lot of people, but if you’re a service sub, you understand. every pair tells a story. every pair has a purpose. and every pair deserves to look perfect.
Madam has everything from elegant evening heels to business pumps, riding boots, little summer sandals, trainers for working out, hiking boots, and the most comfortable slippers you’ve ever seen. each week i inspect them, clean them, polish the leather, replace worn laces when needed, and make sure everything is put back exactly where it belongs.
organization is a bigger job than you’d think.
i know where every single pair lives.
if Madam walks into her dressing room and says she’s wearing the navy cocktail dress with the silver earrings, i can already tell her which shoes i’d pair with it. sometimes she agrees. sometimes she smiles and says, “good choice, duckie.”
those three words make me ridiculously happy.
i also love going shoe shopping with her. yes, it means i have to put clothes on and venture into the vanilla world, but watching her try on pair after pair is worth it. she’ll walk out of the dressing area, ask what i think, and i get to be part of helping her choose. i carry boxes, fetch different sizes, and quietly admire how amazing she looks in every single pair.
now…
i’ll admit one more thing.
i like the smell of her shoes.
there.
i said it.
there is just something about a pair she’s worn all day that makes my little submissive brain happy. i know that’s a bit strange, but i’ve long since accepted that i’m a strange duck.
every once in a great while, if she’s wearing a beautiful pair of leather heels and feeling playful, she’ll have me kneel and use my tongue to give them a final shine while they’re still on her feet.
it is never about the shoes.
it is about service.
it is about trust.
it is about making something she already owns look just a little more beautiful before she steps out the door.
mostly, though, my job is much simpler.
keep them clean.
keep them organized.
know exactly where they are.
and make sure Madam never has to spend a single second looking for the perfect pair.
that is a responsibility this duck takes very seriously.
Beautifully written, duckie! Leave it to a fellow sub to turn shoe organization and leather polish into a art form. Hearing that you actually put on pants for Madam’s shopping trips proves you’re a far braver duck than I am! Fantastic article.

Duckie, don’t consider yourself unusual. It’s very apparent here that our boys have come to love the smells of our shoes too.
Amongst Dommes, we smile and giggle a little about it, perhaps partially because we know we’ve trained them to; but it’s still both a touch cute and a touch arousing.

I love the idea of someone picking out the perfect shoes for me. Often times is the hardest part of getting ready. Do you have a favorite pair of shoes you like to see the Madam in?
thank you Mistress. ooooh, favorite? ummm, three cme to mind right away.
first are Madam’s black Christian Louboutin pumps. classic, elegant, red soles, and they work with damn near everything. i also love her Jimmy Choo strappy evening heels, especially with a formal dress because they make her legs look incredible. then there are her tall black boots. those aren’t subtle at all. when Madam walks into a room wearing those, my little duck brain pretty much stops doing anything useful.
the funny thing is i love them for different reasons. the pumps say powerful businesswoman, the heels say glamorous night out, and those boots just say everybody better behave. i recognize all three by the sound they make when Madam walks, and yes, i’m enough of a shoe-sniffing weirdo that i particularly enjoy taking care of them after she’s worn them all evening. 🙂
