Mother arrived today! thing1 picked her up from the airport, and I was so happy to see her. We spent a good amount of time catching up, and I showed her some of the improvements around the property since her last visit. She always enjoys seeing how things evolve here.

I could tell she was worn out from her travels, so I had thing1 escort her back to her room for a little rest before dinner.
