my move date is set

it’s official—i’ll be joining madam on april 16.

it still feels so far away, but at least now i have a date to hold onto. something solid to count down toward.

in the meantime, there’s still so much to do. closing out the estate is no small task—every room, every hallway, every hidden cabinet full of things that need to be sorted, packed, or shipped.

there’s a weight to it, knowing i’m the last one here. the one making sure it all gets wrapped up properly. i want everything to be perfect for madam when she’s ready to receive it.

it helps to stay busy. keeps the loneliness at bay. april 16 can’t come fast enough.

    As someone who’s moved MANY times, trust me, you’ll run out of time. Nose to the grindstone. Don’t look up till everything’s done. And then, of course, at that moment, you’ll realize that there’s more.
    Time will fly.
