Frankly, if there is ever any question about which sex got the better deal sexually, I think the human body provides a pretty compelling argument for women.
Men have limitations. Arousal builds, orgasm happens, and eventually their bodies demand a recovery period. Women have considerably more possibilities. Multiple orgasms, prolonged arousal, and the ability to keep enjoying pleasure long after a male partner would be asking for a water break.
I’ve certainly been appreciating that advantage lately.
With the kids away so much this summer, I’ve had long stretches of uninterrupted adult time with Ben. I’ve discovered just how luxurious it is to make pleasure part of an otherwise ordinary afternoon. I can settle into my favorite chair with a book, relax for as long as I please, and have Ben devoted entirely to my pleasure. Facesitting has become particularly convenient for catching up on my reading.
The important difference is that his stamina does not dictate when I’m finished. If one method of service tires him, I can change positions, give him a brief recovery period, or simply find another way for him to continue being useful.
And unlike Ben, I don’t necessarily have to stop after an orgasm. Sometimes one is plenty. Sometimes it simply makes me want another.
I’m not saying biology proves women should rule the world.
But it certainly isn’t hurting my argument.
