Quiet Week at Home and at the Magazine

It’s a quiet week around here. Not just at home, but at the Magazine too.
After hosting guests last week and then having Levi visit over the weekend, it’s now just me and houseboy. My husband is out of town, and thing1 and thing2 left for a few days to help our friend fosterboy (who may need a new name soon) with repairs at the house he inherited.
So for now, it’s just me, the dogs, and houseboy in this big empty house.
The Magazine is similarly still. Most of the other staff Dommes are out this week. We usually chat back and forth daily, but my phone and email have been unusually quiet. And that’s okay. I have plenty to catch up on, and honestly, I’m taking a little downtime too. Feeling like I could sleep for the next two days. And I just might.
Downtime is RIGHT!! Very busy at the company while krissi was in CA. The 2 weeks after have been NUTs with Dommes, our bunch, some pop-ups. I told him I’m ready to lay back for a while. He’s game with whatever. So, I’m telling Mollie and the others that I’m gonna relax, to not worry or have feelings hurt … in fact, what about the beach for a week? krissi’s still got his tan … Think I’ll pulse my connections …
