Use a Safeword Even in Roleplay

by | Jul 11, 2025 | 0 comments

Just because you’re pretending to resist doesn’t mean consent disappears. In non-consensual roleplay, CNC, or fear-based scenes, a safeword is essential. It gives you a way to stop the scene instantly if something feels wrong, physically or emotionally. Choose a word that clearly signals real distress—something you wouldn’t say during play. Talk about it beforehand and make sure everyone involved agrees. Staying safe in roleplay doesn’t ruin the fantasy—it’s what makes the fantasy possible.
