Thank you, Mrs. Jones
Dear Mrs. Jones,
I want to thank you for all of the guidance that you provided me while I was a young, emotional teenager.
You noticed something in me. It bothered you that I was slacking and just barely getting by, when you knew, I had so much more inside of me.
You pushed me very hard to make sure that I achieved a very high goals that I was capable of. You were not satisfied with me just skating by.
It was because of you that I attended a very competitive university, receive the fellowship during this time, and went on to graduate school.
You never accepted less than I was capable of achieving and I thank you for that immensely.
Thank you, Mrs. Jones. I wouldn’t be the adult and man that I became without your guidance.
Mayihelpu, Mrs. Jones clearly saw your potential before you were prepared to fully recognize it yourself. A good teacher does more than provide information. She refuses to let a capable student hide behind minimal effort, and her expectations can redirect the course of his entire life. Your education and accomplishments show just how right she was to push you. Good boy for observing World Gratitude Day and recognizing the woman who expected more from you.
