Madam Picks the Fifteen Days and I Reconsider my Relationship with the Furniture

Madam Picks the Fifteen Days and I Reconsider my Relationship with the Furniture

The first time I sat down too quickly wearing a cage, I got straight back up and gave the chair a dirty look. Completely innocent chair. Been sitting in it for years. Apparently, I thought it should have adjusted to my circumstances.

I am nude at home on the estate, and anywhere else I can reasonably get away with it. Madam highly prefers me uncaged, so that is how I spend most of my life. Our occasional fifteen-day chastity refresher, when she has me wear a cage, interrupts habits so familiar I barely know I have them. I remember the rules perfectly well. Remembering them before dropping into a low chair is apparently a separate qualification.

I am still waiting for my next locking, so these are lessons from previous rounds. You would think I would remember the grand emotional discoveries most clearly. Instead, I remember reconsidering a pair of trousers, negotiating with my sleeping position, and discovering that taking a piss had become something I should allow extra time for. Madam wanted to refresh my self-control. My entire daily routine apparently enrolled in the course.

Getting Dressed Becomes an Actual Project

Clothes are already an occasional inconvenience in my life. I wear them when circumstances require them, but at home I am nude, and elsewhere I take whatever reasonable opportunities exist to remain that way. My wardrobe therefore has one major responsibility, which is getting me through situations where other people insist on a wardrobe.

During a locking, clothes acquire additional responsibilities. Something that normally fits comfortably may sit differently. A seam I have never noticed develops an opinion. A pair of trousers that looked perfectly cooperative on the hanger becomes less agreeable once I move around.

I have learned to check how clothes feel while sitting and walking, rather than assuming that successfully fastening them means the job is finished. Standing in front of a mirror is a very limited examination of what trousers might do over the next several hours.

The mildly humiliating part is how much consideration this requires from someone who usually regards getting dressed as a brief administrative interruption. I can find myself comparing two ordinary outfits with the concentration of a man preparing for an expedition. Madam, meanwhile, has been ready for some time.

At home, I can dispense with that particular problem by remaining nude. Unfortunately, nudity does not solve the chair.

Sitting Down Has More Stages Than I Remember

Normally, I approach a chair with considerable confidence. I have been using them for years, and my general record suggests competence. During the first days of a locking, however, I sometimes discover that I have committed to a movement before considering how everything is positioned.

It is usually a small adjustment. I settle more carefully, shift, or stand and try again. The comedy comes from how disproportionate the attention feels. I am trying to sit at a table, not land a spacecraft, yet there I am making preliminary calculations.

Low seats can be especially revealing about my habits. So can getting into a car. I have a familiar way of folding myself into a passenger seat, and familiarity encourages speed. A cage gives me a reason to slow down and notice the movement.

This does improve with experience. After a while, I make those adjustments almost automatically. But I know myself well enough to expect at least one moment during the next refresher when I will forget, sit with my usual enthusiasm, and immediately remember why enthusiasm was unnecessary.

Madam does not have to comment. I can usually hear my own lesson quite clearly.

My Sleeping Position Was Not Consulted

I also have opinions about how I sleep, although I apparently express most of them while unconscious. I settle into a familiar position, move around during the night, and generally expect my body to manage the process without supervision.

During previous lockings, I have had to find a comfortable position more deliberately. Sometimes a small change in how I arrange my legs or bedding is enough. Sometimes I need to stop trying to recreate the exact position I ordinarily use and accept that another one will work better.

The first night tends to involve more awareness than sleep requires. I notice the cage, notice the bedding, and notice that I am noticing everything. Then I become mildly annoyed with myself for being awake while conducting a review of my own bed.

Eventually, I settle. The equipment becomes familiar enough that it does not occupy every thought. That adjustment is useful to remember when I am having an impatient evening. Something can feel unfamiliar without remaining unfamiliar forever.

Actual pain, persistent rubbing, or other concerning changes are another matter. I report those and address them. Losing sleep to prove I can endure a problem would make me tired and foolish, which is a poor combination for anyone with morning responsibilities.

Taking a Piss Should Not Require a Strategy

Of all the ordinary activities I expect to remain ordinary, taking a piss is high on the list. I enter the bathroom with a simple objective and would prefer to complete it without developing new skills.

A cage can complicate the familiar routine, depending on its design and fit. I have learned that sitting is often the more practical choice for me. It gives me time to manage things carefully, reduces the chance of a mess, and saves me from treating optimism as a bathroom technique.

There is something very duckie about initially thinking an activity will probably work exactly as usual, then discovering that “probably” was doing far too much work in that sentence. Experience has made me less interested in testing that theory.

I also allow a little more time for cleaning up and checking that everything is dry. It is a small addition, but small additions accumulate. What used to be a quick interruption now has a few extra steps.

None of this makes an impressive story when told individually. That is exactly why it catches me out. I prepare myself for fifteen days of renewed discipline, then find myself learning a lesson about not rushing through a bathroom visit.

The Gym Locker Room Is Still a Locker Room

I am not ordinarily shy about changing in a locker room. Being nude is familiar to me, and other people changing around me does not turn it into a remarkable event. I get on with what I came there to do.

Wearing a cage makes me more aware of how I change. I know there is something unusual visible, and that knowledge can occupy more of my attention than anyone else’s actual behavior warrants. A person glancing in my direction may be looking for his towel. My imagination is perfectly capable of promoting him to investigator.

I have learned to keep the routine practical and respect the facility’s rules. A private changing space, when available, can make things simpler. I do not need to manufacture a public occasion out of an ordinary gym visit, and strangers have not volunteered to participate in my kink.

The workout itself requires attention, too. I check whether movement or clothing causes rubbing, and I adjust or stop an activity if something is uncomfortable. Being trained at self-control does not require me to ignore useful information from my body.

The funniest part is remembering how casually I normally move through this entire process. Arrive, change, exercise, wash, leave. During a locking, I can mentally rehearse the changing part before I have even found my gym bag.

For a man who generally wants fewer clothes involved in life, I can suddenly become very interested in the location of a towel.

Washing Stops Being Something I Do on Autopilot

My normal washing routine is familiar enough that I do not give each stage much thought. During a locking, I need to pay closer attention to the areas around the device, rinsing, drying, and checking my skin.

That does not mean turning the bathroom into a workshop or experimenting with whatever happens to be within reach. It means following the care instructions appropriate to the device and our agreed routine, including removal for cleaning when required. Trying to clean around something is not always an adequate substitute for being able to clean properly.

Drying deserves more patience than I naturally want to give it. I can be finished with the washing part and already thinking about the next task, while there is still moisture that needs attention. A refresher provides plenty of opportunities to practice completing a job before mentally leaving it.

I also inspect rather than assume. If something is rubbing or my skin looks irritated, I say so. Madam expects honesty, and I have no wish to offer her a preventable problem as evidence of my dedication.

There is a particular kind of absurdity in being nude all day and still having to plan around the one thing I am wearing. My usual washing routine is largely concerned with me. Add a cage, and suddenly there is equipment to account for, too.

The Awkwardness Gets Smaller

The first few days can make these adjustments feel constant. Then they begin settling into a routine. I know which clothes are comfortable, approach a seat more thoughtfully, and stop expecting the bathroom to operate on precisely its usual timetable.

That familiarity matters. If every small adjustment continued demanding my full attention, I would spend the entire fifteen days behaving as though I had just been introduced to my own body. Thankfully, I am capable of learning.

There is still humor in it, especially because I rarely wear a cage. I can be perfectly composed about Madam’s decision and then become mildly defeated by getting into a car. Self-control does not automatically grant expertise in every practical consequence.

I have also learned not to interpret every inconvenience as an important emotional event. Sometimes I need to reflect on how I respond to a restriction. Sometimes I simply need different trousers. Knowing which problem I actually have makes the day easier for everyone.

One Small Change Follows Me Everywhere

What stays with me is how thoroughly a single change can enter an ordinary day. Madam does not have to issue a fresh instruction every time I sit, sleep, wash, or leave the house. I encounter little reminders through activities I would usually complete without thinking.

That is part of why the refresher works on me. I am well trained at self-control, but I can become comfortable enough to stop noticing some of the choices I make. The practical adjustments bring my attention back. I slow down, consider what I am doing, and remember that a changed routine still needs to be handled calmly.

I would prefer to demonstrate that calm without having a prolonged discussion with my trousers. Nevertheless, the trousers occasionally contribute.

For now, I am still uncaged and waiting for Madam to choose the next start date. I am enjoying the usual freedom of my daily routine, including the considerable luxury of sitting down without first thinking about sitting down.

Apparently Even Freedom Has a Routine

My body expects its usual freedom because that is how I live most of the time. Madam prefers me uncaged, I prefer being nude, and our ordinary days accommodate both quite nicely. When the next fifteen-day refresher begins, I expect the familiar collection of small adjustments to return. I will take a little more care, allow a little more time, and remember that being well trained includes adapting without making every inconvenience a household announcement. I may still privately object to the trousers. They have had every opportunity to improve.
