Scented Products Aren’t for Genitals

Those heavily scented body washes and “extra fresh” soaps might smell good, but they are not designed for sensitive genital skin. Fragrances and harsh detergents can disrupt your natural pH, cause irritation, dryness, or painful burning. This is especially important if you expect close inspection or sexual use. Stick to fragrance-free, gentle cleansers and rinse thoroughly. Clean does not mean perfumed. If it tingles or burns, that is not part of the kink. Healthy skin is always the goal.

    Seriously unfun! I knew a woman who found out the hard way she was allergic to the fragrance agents in her boyfriend’s “Man Wash”. Watch out for yourselves, but also your partners!
