Collars, leashes, and neck restraints can feel powerful and symbolic, but they come with serious risks if handled improperly. The neck contains major blood vessels, nerves, and the airway, all of which are vulnerable to pressure. Never allow anything to be tight around the neck, and avoid pulling from behind or applying force to the throat. Even brief compression can cause dizziness, injury, or worse. If you wear a collar, it should sit comfortably and safely, not restrict breathing or circulation. Neck play is advanced and requires knowledge, trust, and constant awareness. Treat it with care and respect every time.

Always nice reading these sorts of posts. Although for some you might assume it’s obvious or common sense – there will always be that one topic or subject that wasn’t and prompts thought or discussion
I wear my collar regularly and wear it just a little loose. Thanks for the advice Nurse Jessica.
