Suspension bondage is one of the most dangerous forms of play if done incorrectly. It’s not just about tying someone up and lifting them into the air—it’s about knowing how much weight the gear can hold, how to distribute pressure safely, and how to monitor circulation and nerve function throughout. Using the wrong anchor point, knot, or rope type can lead to falls, injury, or worse. If you’re interested in this kind of play, take a workshop or find a mentor first. There’s no room for improvisation when gravity is involved.
