Some muscle soreness after a scene or physical activity is normal and often improves within a day or two. Persistent pain, however, is different. If discomfort continues for several days, becomes more intense, or interferes with normal movement, it may indicate an injury that deserves medical evaluation.
Don’t ignore symptoms in the hope they will simply disappear. Early assessment and treatment can prevent a minor injury from becoming a long-term problem. Your body gives you warning signs for a reason. Listen to them.
