Resolution 5.2 Adopt Sex Positivity as Standard Policy at FemdomU

Sponsor: Mistress Heather

Official Text of the Resolution

Whereas FemdomU Magazine and its associated programs exist to educate, explore, and celebrate female-led power exchange and consensual erotic authority, and

Whereas open and respectful discussion of sexuality is necessary for healthy, informed, and consensual femdom dynamics, and

Whereas the Conclave recognizes that shame, secrecy, and stigma surrounding sexual desire can undermine trust, communication, and responsible power exchange, and

Whereas the principles outlined in Mizz Geena’s article Sex Positivity Under Female Authority articulate a clear framework in which sexuality is treated as natural, informed by consent, and guided by structure and accountability, and

Whereas sex positivity acknowledges consensual sexual expression, including dominance, submission, erotic curiosity, and kink, as valid forms of human experience when practiced responsibly, and

Whereas sex positivity within a female-led dynamic does not eliminate authority, discipline, or boundaries, but instead strengthens them through honesty, consent, and informed participation,

Therefore, the Conclave of FemdomU hereby resolves that:

  1. Sex positivity shall be recognized as a guiding cultural principle of FemdomU Magazine, its educational programs, and its affiliated community spaces.
  2. Content published by FemdomU should reflect a respectful, informed, and open approach to sexuality, avoiding unnecessary shame while emphasizing consent, safety, communication, and accountability.
  3. Dommes participating in the FemdomU community are encouraged to model sex-positive leadership by acknowledging desire openly, maintaining clear authority and structure, and fostering environments where communication about sexuality can occur honestly and without stigma.
  4. Staff members and volunteer participants shall be encouraged to approach discussions of sexuality with maturity, clarity, and respect, recognizing that erotic curiosity and sexual expression are natural elements of consensual power exchange.
  5. Educational initiatives and training programs at FemdomU should continue to promote awareness of anatomy, arousal, emotional response, consent practices, health considerations, and aftercare as part of a responsible sex-positive framework.
  6. Sex positivity within FemdomU shall always exist alongside clear boundaries, meaning that acknowledging desire does not guarantee fulfillment, and that authority, consent, and negotiated limits remain central to all interactions.
  7. Through this policy, FemdomU affirms its commitment to creating a community where sexual expression can be explored responsibly, without shame, and under the structured guidance of female authority.

Note from the Sponsor

I sponsored this resolution after reading Mizz Geena’s excellent article on sex positivity under female authority. She captured something that many of us practice instinctively but have never formally stated as policy.

At FemdomU we speak openly about power exchange, arousal, service, denial, and discipline. We encourage subs to be honest about their fantasies and reactions. We ask Dommes to lead with clarity, confidence, and accountability. Those practices are already rooted in sex positivity.

What this resolution does is name that philosophy clearly and make it part of our institutional culture.

Sex positivity does not weaken authority. It strengthens it. When shame is removed, communication improves. When communication improves, Dommes gain clearer insight into their submissives. That insight allows us to lead more effectively and create dynamics that are safer, deeper, and more sustainable.

I believe adopting sex positivity as a formal policy aligns perfectly with FemdomU’s educational mission and with the kind of confident female authority we want to model for our readers and our community.

For those reasons, I strongly encourage the Conclave to vote YES on Resolution 5.2.

    Absolutely!
We don’t need any prudes here!

This is wonderful! Geena, a terrific article and this is a concept I can get behind.

  5. Mistress Jennifer

Having an open mind is what is needed on here, true, authentic and being honest. The prudes, close minded, judgemental need to move on down the road.

  6. Mizz Yvette

    This seems resonable.

  7. Mrs Annie

Another great message coming from this body. Sex Positivity is absolutely something I am 100% behind! 🙂
