Hello everyone - this outline covers the current editorial process for Magazine content. NOTE: This does not include content for the team blog, theWHIP. This is only for Featured content and Fiction.

Editorial Review Process

To ensure consistency, quality, and safety across all published material, all submitted content follows a standardized editorial workflow before publication. The exact process depends on the type of content being submitted.

Feature Content

This process applies to articles intended for the magazine's primary sections, including Lifestyle, How-To, Health & Safety, Opinion, Sub's Corner, Reviews, Interviews, and similar editorial features.

Step 1. Sub-Editor Review

For content submitted by a submissive contributor, the first review is conducted by the sub-editor. During Shawn's absence, this responsibility is handled by Levi.

The sub-editor reviews the article for spelling, grammar, punctuation, readability, consistency, and adherence to the magazine's writing standards. Suggested edits and comments are prepared for the Editor.

When appropriate, the sub-editor may communicate directly with the author to clarify intent or suggest rewrites before the article advances to editorial review. The goal is to improve the quality of the submission while preserving the author's voice.

Content submitted directly by a Domme may bypass this step at the Editor's discretion. (NOTE: All Dommes, both Staff and Guests, may request a proofreader before submitting her content.)

Step 2. Managing Editor Review

Mistress Heather serves as Editor for feature content.

The Editor reviews both the original submission and any recommendations provided by the sub-editor. Additional edits, revisions, and editorial comments may be added as needed.

If the article requires only minor corrections, the Editor may approve it for publication without returning it to the author.

If substantial revisions are required, the article will be returned to the author with editorial feedback. Once revisions have been completed, the Editor will conduct a final review before approving the article for publication.

Step 3. Health and Safety Review

If the Editor determines that an article contains health, safety, educational, or risk-related information, it will be forwarded to Domme Jessica, Health and Safety Editor.

After review, she may:

• Approve the article without changes.

• Request revisions or clarification from the author.

• Add or revise a Health and Safety section to improve accuracy or reader guidance.

• Recommend that the article not be published until identified concerns have been addressed.

This review is performed only when deemed necessary by the Editor.

Step 4. Production and Scheduling

Once editorial approval has been completed, the article moves into production.

duckie will:

• Format the article for publication.

• Select or create an appropriate feature image.

• Prepare the FAQ section.

• Add categories, tags, SEO metadata, excerpts, and other publication information.

• Schedule the article for publication.

• Notify the author of the scheduled publication date.

At this stage, only formatting or production-related corrections should be made. Editorial revisions should already be complete.

Fiction Content

This process applies to short stories, serialized fiction, creative writing, and other fictional works.

Step 1. sub-editor Review (Submissions by Subs Only)

If a fictional work is submitted by a submissive contributor, it will first be reviewed by the sub-editor. During Shawn's absence, this responsibility is handled by Levi.

The sub-editor reviews the work for grammar, spelling, punctuation, readability, continuity, and consistency. Suggestions are provided to the Fiction Editor.

When appropriate, Levi may work directly with the author to suggest revisions or clarify portions of the story before editorial review.

Fiction submitted by a Domme may bypass this step at the Fiction Editor's discretion. However, Dommes may always request a sub proofreader to work with them before they submit any content.

Step 2. Fiction Editor Review

Mizz Geena serves as Fiction Editor.

She reviews the manuscript along with any recommendations provided by the sub-editor.

If only minor editorial changes are required, the story may be approved for publication.

If more substantial revisions are needed, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision before receiving final approval.

Editorial feedback may address story structure, pacing, characterization, continuity, tone, or consistency with the magazine's standards.

Step 3. Production and Scheduling

After final approval, Duckie prepares the story for publication.

This includes:

• Formatting the story.

• Adding any required production elements.

• Scheduling publication.

• Notifying the author of the publication schedule.

Unlike feature articles, fiction pieces generally do not require FAQs or a Health and Safety review unless specifically requested by the Fiction Editor.

Madam Nora has officially called Conclave VII to order. The Seventh Conclave of Dommes will convene beginning September 14, setting the stage for formal resolutions, structured debate, and decisive Command.

This Conclave will follow the established procedural timeline:

• Resolutions due: September 9
• Discussion opens: September 14
• Voting opens: September 19
• Voting closes: September 28, or earlier if Full Command is reached

As always, the Conclave exists to shape the direction, discipline, and authority of FemdomU. All Dommes may sponsor resolutions, including Guest Dommes. This is the moment to bring forward ideas that carry weight, whether that means discipline, evaluation, ritual authority, or broader structural impact.

Conclave VII promises to be focused, deliberate, and powerful. Once discussion opens, the Dommes will speak, debate, and ultimately decide.

More details will follow as resolutions are submitted and published.
