I always thought that “tied in knots”
Was just a metaphor.
That was a lie that I was taught
One out of many more.

“Hung up “I learned, another phrase,
Reserved for neurotics;
But you’ve shown me each one’s a phase
In your tortures most exotic.

Immobilized, bound head to toe,
Shibari chandelier;
I only pray you will not go
And leave me hanging here.

Now tied in knots and hung up too,
I’ve no choice but to wait on you.
